Wake up babe,
World Mushroom Forum just dropped.
This is a 3 day worldwide online event bringing together mushroom entrepreneurs, researchers, advocates, designers, content creators, and pretty much anyone actuvely working at the intersection of fungi x whatever.

Oli Genn-Bash of The Fungi Consultant and I are co-producing it, and the immediate response from the global mushroom community has already totally exceeded any expectations we may have had for the inaugural WMF.
We’ve received numerous submissions for speakers, collaborators and sponsors within the first week of announcing, and we haven’t yet published any of the programming, partners or brands who have committed to joining us in making this happen.
As an example of the scope of what we’re building here, early conversations with event partners and programming applicants have connected us to the #1 mushroom startup in India, the #1 mushroom podcast in Scotland, the #1 mycology and supplies vendor in the UK, a leading mycomaterials designer in the United Arab Emirates, several of the top fungi experts in Australia, one of the top mushroom genetics companies in the United States, a leading functional mushroom brand & wholesale extract distributor in The Netherlands, multiple internationally recognized mushroom startups in Mexico, and numerous others. We’re just getting started. Here’s a look an overview of the three day event with a general sense of the topics included:

Giving my keynote at Shroom Sabha, India’s first mushroom festival, in 2023 wearing traditional regional attire
Special Emphasis

Underrepresented regions
I can’t emphasize this part enough:
We want to build this together with all of you
All of the prospective participants and programming are being routed through the submission portal linked below. Please fill it out if you’d like to be part of this, even if you don’t know exactly where you fit in yet. Having hosted similar events in the past, the amount of people who sleep on filling out the form and then hit us up a week before the event only to find out all the spots are booked solid is wild - it’ll take you 5 minutes to do this, so if you want to be part of the inaugural World Mushroom Forum,
And if you’re looking to level up your personal mycology research journey to help with finding your place in the mushroom revolution, look no further than Full Canopy Genetics — your one stop shop for mycology supplies in the U.S.
