New facility promises to treat AI-induced delusions with AI-generated delusions.
SILICON VALLEY — The world’s first AI and psychedelic-induced psychosis treatment center officially opened this weekend, promising to revolutionize mental healthcare by treating reality distortion with more reality distortion.
The facility, called MindEscape, combines cutting-edge artificial intelligence with immersive psychedelic integration protocols to help patients distinguish between genuinely useful revelations and the conviction that their spiritual insights are proof that they work as a sleeper agent for the CIA.
“Our proprietary algorithm can determine whether you’ve achieved ego death or simply haven’t slept in four days,” explained CEO and founder Chad Chode, who received the vision for the center while taking part in a 5-MeO and Ibogaine combo treatment session in Tijuana.
Patients are greeted by an AI ‘algorithmic shaman’ trained on millions of Reddit posts and courtroom transcriptions sourced from cases related to confirmed schizophrenics. The system then generates personalized therapeutic hallucinations calibrated to each patient's insurance coverage.
Early adopters report mixed results. One patient arrived believing he was receiving divine instructions from ChatGPT and left convinced he was the reincarnation of a venture capitalist from Atlantis.
“He’s actually doing much better,” Chode explained. “He’s already raised a seed round.”
MindEscape investors include several prominent wellness entrepreneurs who insist the technology represents a breakthrough in democratizing access to mental healthcare.
Critics, meanwhile, question whether replacing qualified clinicians with probabilistic text generators is advisable when treating people struggling to distinguish reality from fantasy.
MindEscape has dismissed these concerns as resistance to innovation.
The company plans to launch a premium subscription tier offering unlimited delusions for $299 per month.
